Story Land – Glen, NH – 1 mile
Story Land is the children’s theme park where fantasy lives! Attitash – King of the Valley – Bartlet, NH – 5 miles
Attitash excels in providing you the opportunity to ride, slide, climb, jump, pedal, and grind. Ride down the resort’s mile-long Alpine Slides, flip on the Eurobungy Trampoline, conquer the 23′ climbing wall, or explore NH’s most extensive on- and off-slope mountain biking trails. For a more leisurely adventure take a horseback ride along the Saco River, cool off on the waterslides or in Buddy Bear’s Playpool, or relax on the Scenic Sky Ride to the summit of Attitash. Oktoberfest celebration Columbus Day weekend featuring King Ludwig Bavarian Brass Band, games, contests, a wide selection of German cuisine and an Oktoberfest Beer Garden.
Conway Scenic Railroad – North Conway, NH – 7 miles
The “Valley Train” offers departures to Conway and Bartlett, while the “Notch Train” carries passengers through spectacular Crawford Notch and past the finest natural scenery in the entire Northeast. On the “Valley Train” choose Coach, First Class or experience the fun of railroad dining aboard the Dining Car “Chocorua” (reservations suggested). The “Notch Train” offers Coach, First-Class and Dome seating (reservations suggested).
Wild Cat Mountain – Pinkham Notch, NH – 12 miles
“#1 scenery in North America!” (SKI Magazine) Experience the ZipRider,™ NH’s newest thrill ride—soar ½ mile over trees, ski trails, and a river at up to 45 mph, while taking in the majestic mountain scenery. Then ride the Wildcat Express Gondola Skyride to the 4,062′ summit—in 12 minutes! Views of Mt. Washington, Tuckerman Ravine, and Presidential Range offer memories and photo opportunities. Auto Road – Pinkham Notch, NH – 13 miles
A drive on the Mount Washington Auto Road is a drive unlike any other. With the ever-changing weather conditions on New England’s highest peak, no two trips are the same. Santa’s Village – Jefferson, NH – 40 miles
Welcome to a magical land where reindeer talk, snowmen are tall as trees, and you can ride the Reindeer Coaster and splash down the Yule Log Flume! You’ll visit with Santa, his Helpers and reindeer, and long remember this fun-filled day!
Six Gun City & Fort Splash Waterpark – Jefferson, NH – 35 miles
Visit the affordable Western Village & Water Park where you can ride, slide, race and play. Help the Sheriff catch an Outlaw, see the mini-horse show, play laser tag and view over 100 wagons and sleighs. Enjoy 13 rides like the Gold Rush Express runaway train family coaster, bumper boats, water coaster dark ride, and the Tumbleweed Speedway family go-kart racing. Kick off your boots and cool off on the two waterslides (swimwear required) and the Fort Splash wading pool. Pan for gems. Gift shops, snack bar and much more.
Cog Railway – Bretton Woods, NH – 26 miles
Ride to the top of Mt. Washington on the world’s first mountain-climbing railway! This round-trip journey is New England’s most unique vacation experience. Step aboard an authentic coal-fired steam train as it climbs the Northeast’s highest peak! Enjoy the view and watch the trains from Marshfield Base Station featuring a museum, restaurant & gift shop.
Cannon Aerial Tramway – Franconia Notch, NH – 43 miles
The 80-passenger aerial tramway whisks you above timberline to the 4,200-foot summit for outstanding views of the White Mountains and into Maine, Vermont and even Canada. Take as little as an hour or as long as a day to enjoy summit walking paths, an observation deck, cafeterias, swimming at Echo Lake, boat rentals, a free eight-mile recreation path, “Old Man of the Mountain” Museum, and the New England Ski Museum.
Clarks Trading Post – Lincoln, NH – 51 miles
Enjoy a trained bear performance, Steam Train ride through Wolfman’s Territory and the Seyranyan Family Circus. Experience Merlin’s Mystical Mansion, Tuttle’s Rustic House, Water Blaster Boats and the “Old Man of the Mountain” climbing tower. Fryeburg Snowmobile Rentals – Fryeburg, Maine – 18 miles
Located in Fryeburg, Maine, just minutes from North Conway, NH, and offer access to over 1,000 miles of well-groomed snowmobile trails deep within the White Mountains. Fryeburg Snowmobile Rentals is an Arctic Cat dealer and rents new F5 and T500 Arctic Cat Snowmobiles with single and double sled rentals also available.
The Flume Gorge – Franconia Notch, NH – 49 miles
The Flume Gorge offers a 2-mile self-guided spectacular walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridges and past waterfalls, a scenic pool and mountain views. A new free 20-minute movie in high definition on Franconia Notch State Park. Information center, cafeteria, gift shop and interpretive exhibits. Kids crawl through and explore the Wolf’s Den and Bear’s Cave!
Hobo Railroad – Lincoln, NH – 49 miles
All aboard for a 15-mile, 1 hr. & 20 min. roundtrip train excursion in a picturesque, woodsy setting along the Pemigewasset River in restored vintage coaches. Hobo picnic lunches & ice cream are available. The Station Gift Shop opens at 10am in season. Weekend departures Memorial Day–mid-June. Daily departures late June–fall foliage.
Loon Mountain Scenic Gondola Skyride – Lincoln, NH – 48 miles
